Bowl in Red Cherry Blossom w/bare porcelain

My process:
I use the potter's wheel to create this tea bowl. I generally make the form one day and trim the bottom foot the next day. I then let it dry completely and then I apply a combination of red and white underglaze to the inside of the bowl for an umbre effect. The I paint red cherry blossoms on the outside of the tea bowl. After it comes out of the bisque kiln, I apply clear glaze to the inside of the tea bow and to each of the cherry blossoms on the outside. Then it is fired to cone 10 oxidation in an electric kiln. When it comes out of the glaze kiln, I then sand the bare porcelain with three different grits of diamond sand paper to give the tea bowl a silky finish.
